Slow Stitched - Quilted Heart with Beth Maitland

Saturday, January 31st - 1pm to 4pm

The many techniques of slow stitching and fabric collage will be covered in this three hour course.  Simple embroidery, Kantha stitching,  embellishment and layering all come into play.  We will make a beautiful fabric heart perfect for your Valentine or everyday decor. Either stuffed as a small pillow, hanging decoration or embellishment for a large project, or dimensionally quilted for a card or gift we will explore spreading the slow stitching love.  We will be using curated kits and printed instructions included in course fee ($30 value).

All skill levels welcome. If you can sew on a button you can do this course! Supplies provided but you can bring your favorite scissors and thimble if desired.
