This is a Singer Featherweight 222 in the original black. The Featherweight 222’s are quite rare and highly valued as only a small number of these machines were manufactured. This version of the classic Featherweight features a removable extension plate and a round bed. The tubular bed feature makes it ideal for sewing curved or cylindrical articles of clothing.

This Featherweight 222 has the very desirable “Red S” badge, a rare find, especially on the 222’s. The shiny finish on this machine is pristine and the Art Deco decals are in beautiful shape.
