Crows, some consider them pests, but I have several nests in both my back and front yards.  I have enjoyed watching them raise their babies, protect their families from the hawks and their crazy personalities and antics. There are several generations now.

Live like a crow:
Collect shiny things,
Hop happily down the street for no apparent reason,
Be true to your partner,
Scream loudly when you see your friends,
And call on them when you need help.
